A message from Miss Le Clair:

Hello kids, Hope you all are doing well.
Here is the gym activities for the week. Let's get moving and shaking for about 10 minutes a day.

-- Let's start by putting on your favorite music and move and dance. Get our heart rate up and dance for 2-3 songs. Maybe by the end of the week you can make up your own dance.

-- After you get done moving with the dance please stretch and do your 8 push-ups and 16 crunches.

Have fun, and stay active. Miss LeClair

If you have time put some pictures on your classroom blog of your cool dance moves.

Also check out Mrs. Klemps' new blog. You can find it on our school website.

I'm pleased to announce that JoJo, Derek, Owen and Keira have all signed in. Keira you are signed in because I used your account to see the site from the student's angle. Keira you do need to go in to change your password though. Boys and girls remember to write down your new password once you change it. Put it in a safe place. Take some time over the next 4 days to familiarize yourself with Google Classroom so that on Monday you are up and ready to go to school!!!! You need to sign in every morning by 9:00 AM. You will be marked absent or tardy if you do not. You can sign in under Attendance. Just click on the one that says "I am here and ready to learn".

We will all need to be patient with each other as we adapt to distance learning. I have been on Zoom myself a few times but have never set up a meeting myself. My fingers are crossed that I did it correctly and that we can all be together for a little while. My plan is to read you the next chapter of our read aloud, James and the Giant Peach.  We will be using Google Classroom for our distance learning. Good Morning guys and gals!  Today is the feast day of St. Joseph. Bishop Ricken has dedicated this whole year to St. Joseph. He is the patron saint of Italy. The Pope has asked all Catholics throughout the world to join him today in saying the rosary. The intention of the rosary is for all who are suffering from the Corona virus and for the health and well being of our world. The Pope's country of Italy is very very sick with this virus so he asks us to pray the rosary with him at 3:00 this afternoon. It will be 9:00 at night where he is. It would be great if you and members of your family could do this. There are apps you can download onto your device for the rosary and the Divine Mercy Chaplet. I have both on my phone. I have set my phone alarm for 3:00 today so I will remember to stop what I'm doing and pray the rosary. You can send me a picture of your family saying it together and I will post it.
This is my favorite image of St. Joseph!

If you are unable to comment with your answers below then you can always email it to me.

I recorded myself reading to you, but the file ended up being too large to upload here so I have to rethink  what I will do.

Today, being Thursday, you should have finished your spelling unit 26. Hopefully we will be able to check it someday  soon. You can even get your parents to give you a spelling test if you want to, however, you do NOT have to do this. It would be strictly for your own information that you know how to spell these words.
God Bless you and stay healthy! As always, I miss you guys bunches and bunches! Be good to your parents!
